Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd has unveiled new digital camera models, under the PL, ST and WB series in India with advanced features and technology. These new models feature Samsung’s innovative DualView LCD concept. The models that have been introduced are PL100, PL150, PL200, ST600 and WB600. These innovative models are equipped with easy to use features and stylishly designed compact bodies.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ravinder Zutshi, Deputy MD, Samsung India said, “The new camera models reinforce our position as a leading innovator in the digital camera market. From their powerful optics to the exceptional combination of features, our cameras set a new benchmark for the point-and-shoot, compact digital still cameras.”
Under the attractive PL series are PL100, PL150 and PL200. The all new PL100 and PL150 feature an impressive 12 megapixel CCD, providing sharp and detailed images. Both these camera features Samsung’s Advanced Dual Image Stabilization (IS) technology to help consumers capture crystal clear, blur-free images.

PL100 bestows a 2.7-inch LCD with resolutions of 230K-pixels, standard 35mm lens with 3x optical zoom, while PL150 is equipped with 3.0-inch rear LCD and 5x optical zoom, 27mm-wide angle lens.
The third model ‘PL200’ is the next generation camera combining advanced features and a slim, stylish layout. It comes fully equipped with a true-color filtered 14.2 mega pixel CCD and a powerful 7x optical zoom lens and a large LCD screen, allowing consumers to frame and review their images and video with ease.
Under the ST Series, ST600 with its 8.89cm (3.5”) WVGA Touch LCD and 4.57cm (1.8”) Front LCD is packed with exciting features. It is also equipped with the same 14.2 MP CCD image sensor. Other features include a Schneider-Kreuznach 5x optical zoom lens, Digital Image Stabilization and lot more. ST600 delivers optimum quality at every shot and combats image blur.
WB Series, WB600 delivers ultimate clicking experience with 14 mega-pixel CCD, 24mm ultra wide angle, world-first 15X super-zoom and Schneider KREUZNACH high performance lens.
